 Brief About RERA Project Registration.

  • RERA stands for the Real Estate Regulatory Authority. This was formed to bring out transparency in the real estate sector. The RERA Act was brought in to eradicate problems within the real estate sector. It aims to reduce project delays and mis-selling. In order to facilitate transparency in the home buying process, the Indian Government passed the RERA Act in May 2016. With RERA in place, every builder or developer is required to inform homebuyers of the progress of construction, offer them keys to their property by the mentioned date, and abide by every rule outlined by RERA, to ensure accountability.

 To Whom This Act Applies?

  • Every real estate project which has land area more than 500 Square Meter or has more than 8 apartments needs to be registered. Delays in projects are the biggest issue faced by buyers. RERA seeks to address issues like delays, price, quality of construction, title and other changes. This is the main reason for every developer to register their project under RERA Gujarat.

 You Need Following Details For RERA Project Registration.

  • Promoter details

    • Type of promoter Name, Pan No., Email, Mob. No., Address, Company Reg. No., etc.

  • Authorized signatory

    • Name, Email, Mob. No. , Address, photograph.

  • Project head

    • Name, Email, and Mob. No., Address, photograph.

  • RERA Reg. No. Earlier

    • If applicable of other state or other project.

    • Previous project Detail: Last five Years: Project name, project description, Address (Nil document to be uploaded in case of new promoter)

  • Project Details

    • Project Name, Project Description, Project Type, Project Status, Project Starting Date and project End Date, Total Area of Land, Total Open Area ,Total Covered area ,Project Address, Authority, Physical Application Submission Office, Application No. Garage Available for Sale, Total Area of Garage, No. of Open Parking, Area of Open Parking, No. of Covered Parking, Total Area of cover Parking, Estimated cost of construction, Land Cost(IRS),Total Project Cost.

  • Development Details

    • Type of Inventory, No. of inventory Available for Sale ,Carpet Area (sq.mtr.), Area of exclusive balcony/verandah(sq.mtr.), Area of exclusive open terrace (sq.mtr.)

  • Internal Development Work

    • Road system, Water Supply, Sewage and Drainages, Electricity supply, Solid Waste Management.

  • Project Bank Details

    • Bank Detail, Branch Name, Account Number, IFSC code

  • Project Agent Detail (If Applicable)

    • RERA Agent Registration No. of RERA, Agent Name, Agent Address

  • Project Architect Detail

    • Name, Email Id, Address, No. of key Projects completed, Reg. No. With COA

  • Project Structural Engineer Detail

    • Name, Email Id, Address, No. of key Projects completed, Local Authority License No.

  • Project Contactor Detail

    • Name, Email Id, Address, No. of key Projects completed, Year of Establishment

  • Payment of online fees
  • Hard copies of following documents self attested to be submitted within 3 working days to concerned office
